What we collect
- When you send an enquiry (Contact Us or Become a Customer): your name, company, address, PIN code, city, country, email address, phone number, the products you are interested in and your message.
- When you sign up for our newsletter: your email address. We email you a link to confirm the sign-up, and the date you confirm.
- When you email or call us: the details you give us.
- When you visit the website: technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our hosting and security services record this to keep the site running and protect it from attacks. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how the site is used (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and send quotations, samples and product documents you ask for.
- To manage our relationship with customers and suppliers.
- To send our newsletter, if you signed up. Every newsletter has a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the website secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We use your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies), to take steps you have asked for (your enquiry), or for our legitimate business and legal purposes (security, records). We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
The website uses a small number of cookies that are needed for it to work and stay secure. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our website host, Cloudflare (security, performance and the spam check on our forms), our email provider and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google. They may process data outside India, and they may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and business correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your request and our business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires. Enquiries sent through the website are deleted from it automatically after 24 months. Newsletter sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe; sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw any consent you have given. You have these rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, under the GDPR. Email info@amstermicrocell.com and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiries.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
